Our team specialise in all aspects of private client work including; Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts (including Personal Injury Trusts), Grants of Probate, Estate administration, Trust administrations and Court of Protection.
The team is headed up by Lucy Brown, Solicitor who has a wealth of knowledge spanning over 20 years as a qualified solicitor and 25 years in the legal industry. Lucy worked in Matrimonial law for a number of years before pursuing her interest in Private Client work.
As an affiliate member of STEP working towards the full diploma Lucy ensures that every element of your matter is dealt with expertly.
Heather Shotton is a Trainee Solicitor within the team, and is due to qualify as a Solicitor in October 2026. Having worked in private client prior to joining Kidd & Spoor in January 2024, Heather is experienced in all areas of private client work.
The team was strengthened recently when Ruby Shannon, Paralegal joined the firm. Having worked at 2 large local regional firms for 3 years prior to joining Kidd & Spoor in May 2025 she’s gained a wide range of experience in all areas of private client work.
