Meet the Team – Family Dept.

Jo Scott

I have been a qualified divorce solicitor for over 20 years, having always worked in private practice.

I specialise in family and matrimonial work. Although my aim will be to keep separating couples out of court where possible, I have extensive experience in resolving cases through the court process. I have a particular specialism in resolving the financial aspects of divorce or separation.

I am a trained, qualified and practising collaborative lawyer, and a trained qualified and practising mediator. I sit on the executive committee of the North East Collaborative Group.
